KFH Private
Banking.
Reimagining digital wealth for high-net-worth clients
Redesigned the full digital experience for Kuwait Finance House's private banking platform, from research and IA through to a high-fidelity UI and a scalable design system. The brief: modernise a legacy product without unsettling Sharia-compliant clients and deliver the concierge feel of an HNW client lounge.

The challenge
Legacy experience lacked clarity and premium feel. Content was not hierarchy- and journey-aligned, making it hard for new clients to trust the experience or to access core services.
Modernising within Sharia-compliant constraints, the design had to balance contemporary UX patterns with Islamic banking principles and a deeply conservative client base.
High-net-worth clients demand speed, trust and polish. The current experience leaked credibility at every step and left a clear gap between the brand's positioning and the digital expression of it.

Roles and responsibilities
Defining my contribution across the full UX process from discovery to delivery.
01, UX strategy
Led the discovery phase aligning business goals with user needs through competitor benchmarking, stakeholder interviews and data-led insights. This framed the foundation for a premium and trust-led experience strategy.
02, Information architecture
Restructured complex banking offerings into a clear, intuitive navigation across HNW clients, products, services and advisory functions.
03, Wireframes
Translated insights into high-fidelity wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes, tested and refined before moving into visual design.
04, UI design system
Designed a scalable, modular design system tailored for private banking touchpoints, built as a reusable component system.

Process and approach
From scoping to UI, private banking has a long runway to recover credibility in. We started from research, competitor analysis, user interviews and the design language audit, before translating into Sharia-compliant flows and a fully resilient design system.

Outcome and impact
Shipped a modular, premium UX system that became the new digital standard for KFH Private Banking, informing design decisions across the broader bank.
Fewer steps to access services across the platform.
Stronger engagement across the redesigned digital touchpoints.
A scalable design system used across web and mobile.
